Six Twelve and Slim Thug

The Evolution of SPark.
I started off just listening to every Whitney Houston record that I possibly could around the age of 5. I was pretty shy when I was younger so I would wait for everyone to leave the house so I could practice. I practiced everyday for my dolls until I was 13 and was ready to sing my first solo. I then fell in love with the stage and performing and decided that I wanted to dedicate my life to music. As far as my style is concerned, if you listen to the intro “Music Box” off my album Feels So Good. That explains my style right there. It simply states: “When it comes to music, I love all kinds. And I won’t abuse it, I’ll take my time.” That just means I try not to put myself in a box when it comes to my style. I love everything from R&B, to Rock, to Jazz, Pop, Country and Western., Hip Hop. I love it all, and thats what comes out of me when I create. I started writing when I was 16. My dad bought me a Yamaha keyboard, mic, and a mic stand for Christmas one year, and I started reproducing Timbaland Aliyah tracks in my basement and then lay the vocals. Eventually I started writing and making my own tracks, and the rest is history.READ MORE >

International Pop Star B. Howard

Releases “Dancefloor” Video in the States

There’s no denying Michael Jackson’s influence on rising pop star B. Howard. The way B. Howard styles his curly hair, wears big-framed shades, pops his shoulders when he’s dancing, and sings in a whispery, nasal vocal tone reference the late king of pop’s “Off The Wall” and “Thriller” eras. It’s especially evident in the video for B. Howard’s latest song, “Dancefloor.” It has the suspense of “Thriller”‘s opening scene, and modernized special effects and choreography of “Rock With You.”

About B. Howard

B. Howard is irrefutably creating the hottest new sounds in the global music scene gaining him national and international recognition as an award-nominated songwriter and producer. As a producer and songwriter, B. Howard has collaborated with artists such as Ne-Yo, Chris Brown, Missy Elliott, Ginuwine, Trey Songz, Dru Hill, Jay Sean, Marques Houston, The Levert’s, Lupe Fiasco and one of his mentor’s the incomparable Chaka Khan. He recently produced “Ke Nako” – a song appearing on the Official World Cup Album releasing globally through Sony Music and more importantly, marking his official debut as a recording artist.

His musical strengths are sprung from a long bloodline such as his grandmother, Rock and Roll’s Hall of Fame, Josephine Howard of “The Caravans.” His mother, Miki Howard, was a #1 recording artist with Atlantic Records. B. Howard’s musical proficiencies were further developed through his bond with the legendary Jackson Family. From a very young age, this influential relationship helped shape his imminent career. In 2010, B. Howard has launched his own Entertainment Company, 6 Point Entertainment, with industry vet Jonnie Forster.
