{Atlanta, Ga.} Champagne and Stilettos was indeed a sparkling night of inspiration and empowerment. On September 3rd, this event at Atlanta’s MBarwas to celebrate the launch of Amber Bryant’s Stiletto Mom and the release of Cara Alwill Leyba’s book entitled Girl Code. Both women and ventures were the highlight of the evening as a packed house showed their love and support.
Cameras flashing and question asking kicked off the night as Amber’s media friends, such as Upscale Magazine, Jubliee Magazine and Laugh Magazine just to name a few, began to dig a little deeper into the inspiration and story behind both Amber and Cara. While the rest of those attending the event got to enjoy the bar, music and food MBar had to offer, Amber and Cara had the chance to personally answer media questions and promote their brands, which they did with such poise, energy and honesty.
But the highlight of the night was the toast! Not an empty seat or cup in the house as a room filled with some of Atlanta’s most influential women toast to the ladies of the evening as they shared their stories and introduced to the city and now the world #StilettoMom and #GirlCode! We were excited to have guests from both WeTV and Bravo TV support this occasion.
After the toast, fans and supporters were able to get first dibs on merchandise and the opportunity to personally meet with both ladies and their special guest. Book signings and shirt signings were in high demand as the ladies of the evening opened their private room to supporters, fans and friends.

Heels 4A Cause

I had the pleasure of attending Heel My Heart’s Heels 4A Cause Strike Out Domestic Violence Bowling Event with special guest from VH1’s Atlanta Exes, Domestic Violence Ambassador Christina Johnson.  This event was a great time for a great cause, starting the evening with the serious issue of domestic violence survival but ending the night with food, laughs and of course bragging rights to the winner of the bowling competition.

Mostly all teams boasted of how they would be the winners by the end of the event, however competition was not the real goal.  Nikki Chaney about a dozen teams together to create a bigger awareness and assist in her own way in helping to end domestic violence.  Although the night was a night of competition, everyone came out a winner.
